Boynton Beach preserves the Old Florida charm in its cozy boutiques and restaurants along Ocean Avenue (a walkable and canopy-covered walkway that leads to the beach). Keep walking, and you’ll find Oceanfront Park and its giant blue sea turtle! If you’re visiting in October, don’t miss the Haunted Pirate Fest and Mermaid Splash. Yet, every day of the year, the beautiful beaches welcome new and frequent visitors, with easy access to coral reefs and, if you visit Jaycee Park, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards spots.
If you wish to experience the local wildlife, there’s hardly a better place than Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge. You can hike a one-of-a-kind terrain (guided by an expert) or even paddle through sawgrass marsh and spot some amazing gators and birds. However, if you want a more relaxed evening, don’t skip some of the local brewing companies, like Due South Brewing Company, and taste a crafted beer with your friends.
